CALTRA U12 LADIES PLAYED ST. BRENDAN’S IN THE 1ST ROUND OF THE GAELIC FOOTBALL LEAGUE ON MONDAY THE 26TH OF MARCH IN CALTRA. ST. BRENDAN’S HAD A VERY STRONG TEAM AND WERE 5-4 TO 0-0 UP AT HALF TIME. AS USUAL THE CALTRA LADIES NEVER GAVE UP AND RESPONDED WITH 10 UNANSWERED POINTS IN THE 2ND HALF. ST. BRENDAN’S EVENTUALLY RAN OUT WINNERS ON A FINAL SCORE LINE OF 0-10 TO 5-4. WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED. THE TEAM WAS AS FOLLOWS:

Our U14 girls competed in the Feile Shield competition in Mountbellew on Saturday last. They played three matches winning two against Mountbellew and Glenamaddy but losing to Killererin and were unfortunate not to get through to the next round losing out on score difference.

Our senior ladies played the 1st round of the Connacht league against Kilmovees Shamrocks in Ballindine on Sunday. Despite their  best efforts they were defeated.
